Here we go again.
Just last week an "old man" took it upon himself to touch "Mad Men" actress Teyonah Parris' hair without permission and now film director Ava Duvernay has her own hairy situation to share.
Duvernay, who is the first black female director to be nominated for a Golden Globe Award , found herself at the end of one man's prying hands over the weekend when he touched her long, lovely locks without asking. Of course this is not a huge violation of personal space, but it's also a hot topic when it comes to touching black women's hair. In short, don't do it.
The "Selma" director shared her ordeal over Twitter. Here's what she said went down:
Missed train dealing w/ a man who touched my hair + when I asked what in all the hells he thought he was doing replied "Is this racial?"

Other women came over. Guy is screaming at all of us. Station police involved. It was a whole thing. As I see my train blink off the board.

Now he's having charges pressed by another lady for harassment. Moral: DON'T TOUCH anyone uninvited. ESPECIALLY not this black woman's hair.

Gosh. Thanx for all the good wishes. I'm more than fine. Way, way worse is happening in the world. I'm just pissed about this train! Dammit!

We repeat: Do not touch someone else's hair without permission. Please and thank you.
